My Latest Natural Beauty Miracle Worker

Let’s just say that when you have two babies under the age of two, you become well-versed in nights punctuated by wake-up calls.

You become used to looking slightly grey and pallid. You become used to bags the size of suitcases under your eyes. And you definitely become used to not looking quite so glamorous.

All that considered, when I try a new beauty product and it gets my skin glowing - and not just glowing, but actually shining, right from within - you know you're on to a winner. In fact, you're on to a miracle.

When Liz - who founded natural beauty mecca A Beautiful World - asked me if I'd be a guinea pig for a new brand she'd fallen in love with when she was in LA, I jumped at the chance. You see, Liz is a beauty guru - every brand she sources and discovers is bursting with natural goodness, packed full of the most incredible ingredients that work on every single level. When she raves about something, you know it's good.

Anyway, this latest find is BRAD Biophotonic Skincare (available to buy exclusively on ABW from today!), an ultra-luxe line developed by Brad Hunter.

BRAD Skincare

Brad used to work for high-profile brands Estee Lauder and La Prairie and developed this incredible line when he was asked to create high-performance skincare for private charter jet planes.  BRAD was the result - and it's since once countless fans, awards and plaudits.

So, what sets BRAD out? What makes it special?

Well, each product has been created to work under the most extreme conditions. It's made to not only protect the skin from extensive travel (and we all know how much planes trash our faces), but also to heal, regenerate and approve the appearance of the skin.

The Biophotonic lines uses bio-technology (and all-natural ingredients) to do just this, as well as working to erase the effects of pollution, UV rays, poor air quality and stress.

Now for the science part. Without going into too much detail, Brad uses bio-fermentation to boost the nutrients we absorb from his products, meaning they can penetrate the skin deeper than ever before. Each product is also specially packaged in violet glass, which helps to keep damaging rays from spoiling the ingredients, as well as boosting the potency of the bottle contents.

BRAD Ultra Peel

I was lucky enough to be sent the incredible Ultra Peel (£105), described as a maximum performance exfoliating gel. The Peel has been dubbed a "cult product" by countless beauty editors and make-up artists for its ability to smooth, brighten and plump up the skin.

It does this through the use of glycolic and lactic acids, which erase lines and wrinkles, boost cell renewal and moisturise. Meanwhile, kojic acid corrects discolouration, pyruvic acid fights acne and reduces the appearance of scarring, and bearberry gives a youthful glow.

Pretty amazing, right? I mean, what can't it do?!

When I first applied the product (which I do at night, right before I use serum and moisturiser - currently coconut oil), I was slightly worried as my skin started tingling. Liz had warned me this might happen, but the feeling quickly disappeared, and I went to sleep as normal. The second I woke up in the morning, I dashed straight to the mirror.

Now, let me tell you, I usually look a FRIGHT in the mornings. Like, serious horror movie stuff (please tell me this is normal among us mums!).

However, I was pleasantly surprised. My skin looked fresher than normal, slightly brighter and more evenly-toned. I wasn't sure if I was imagining it or not, but the more I used it, the more I saw the effects. My skin had a genuinely healthy glow (despite the lack of sleep I was getting), and my forehead appeared smoother, less worn. The redness around my nose also completely, miraculously disappeared. It's a true wonder product, and I'm absolutely in love!

Based on this, I can't wait to try out the rest of the range! Interested in seeing for yourselves? Get yourselves over to A Beautiful World today for more, with a special 10% off if you use the code BRAD10.
