Being pregnant with bubba number two has often been pretty challenging. No one tells you how much harder it is the second time, just how much more earth-shatteringly exhausting it can be.
Well, let me tell you now - it's TOUGH.
Thankfully, as the weeks whizz by, my energy is slowly starting to return and, with it, my sanity. I even look less like a zombie, more like a human. But, however good I now feel, popping my feet up every afternoon, book in hand and mug of tea in the other, is a must. Sofa + tea is my afternoon essential.
My sleepy afternoon essentials |
You see, I enjoy the different effects teas can have on my body, instantly soothing my mind. I love the light and refreshing taste of a great green tea, the calm-inducing chamomile, and the cleansing taste of peppermint tea.
However, my latest favourite is JING's Jasmine Silver Needle Tea. Fragrant and deliciously refreshing, the subtle flavour of this tea is wonderfully soothing, making it perfect for my frazzled afternoon brain.
Silver Needle actually happens to be China’s finest white tea. Picked and dried in the mountains of China’s Fujian Province, it is then laid beneath a bed of fresh jasmine flowers for seven consecutive nights to give that fresh, signature flavour.
Isn't that amazing? You won't get that in your regular PG Tips! And if you're a tea connoisseur, then you are going to LOVE what else JING has to offer.
Created to deliver the definitive experience to fellow tea junkies, you'll only be able to taste the finest blends and the lightest, most delicious teas imaginable. In fact, it's so good that the food master himself (Heston Blumenthal) even serves it up in his restaurants.
I'm now itching to test more of Jing's delicious flavours, including White Peony and Rose, Blackcurrant and Hibiscus and Lemon Verbena. Oh, and this impressive looking Flowering Osmanthus Tea is definitely up there - if I could bring myself to actually drink it.
