Balmology - My Forever Skincare

We bring you a heck of a lot of good, honest skincare on this blog.

From Willow and Weleda to Abahna and Aurelia, we love reviewing organic products that will make the most of your natural beauty and restore that inner glow.

However, the brand I'm bringing you today is a real game changer. Actually, scrap that - it's a life changer. You see, Balmology is my forever skincare brand. I honestly don't believe that I will ever be convinced to give it up, and I know I'll never find a cleanser I adore more.

Regular readers will know that I blogged all about my love for Balmology on the Beauty Shortlist earlier this year. However, continued love and use has made me want to shout from the rooftops just how much I love this brand. So, here, I'm going to bring you a brand new review, and convince you IAIT readers that you NEED this in your lives..

Launched by former graphic designer Catherine Lewis in 2011 (truly, one of the loveliest ladies I've ever spoken to), each handmade Balmology product features 100% organic ingredients. The brand's ethos is to use only the highest quality plants, essential oils and beeswax.
Offering up four unique and deliciously-scented products, Balmology has completely transformed my daily cleansing routine. No longer is it a chore, with a quick swirl of cleansing oil here, a splash of water there. Instead, it's a truly pleasurable experience.

Balmology Neroli and Sweet Basil Cleansing Balm

The Neroli and Sweet Basil Cleansing Balm in particular is a stand-out product. Formulated with a blend of Neroli, Mandarin and Sweet Basil essential oils – all renowned for their cleansing and toning properties – it is beautifully fragranced. Luxurious to use, I feel like I'm enjoying a facial every time I use this balm.
The balm is made with beeswax, meaning it is ultra-moisturising and perfect for those ravaging winter months as it leaves skin as soft as a baby's bum. Although it contains plenty of oils (including Avocado, castor, Jojoba and apricot kernel oils), it is definitely not too rich and leaves behind nothing but a dewy, radiant glow.
Meanwhile, the latest addition to Catherine's range - the Exotic Rose Facial Oil - is also an absolute wonder. Too many facial oils promise the absolute world and fail to deliver, but this one...well, it's up there with the very best.

Balmology Exotic Rose Oil

Just one small pump of this makes for the perfect make-up base and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth. I've also been using it mixed into my foundation for a more natural daytime look, and I've been amazed at the results. I always seem to last the day with my skin looking fresh and clear.

If you're looking for your new skincare staples, then call off the search - you've found them. Balmology is here.
