Summer Loving - WheyHey's Healthy, Protein-Boosting Ice Cream

I don’t know about you, but all this glorious, sunny weather (I’m ignoring the fact that we’ve just had a monsoon in my hometown) makes me crave ice cream. I mean, what could possibly be better than sitting on a park bench in the blazing sunshine, Flake 99 in hand, Twister lolly in the other?

Of course, you can’t exactly do that every day. Well, you could, but you wouldn’t, right?

Anyway, if you’re having serious ice cream cravings this summer, but want none of the sugar, then rejoice for the miracle that is WheyHey ice cream. Containing zero sugar and packing a serious protein punch (each 150ml pot contains 22g of protein - the equivalent to what is found in an ENTIRE chicken breast), this is one indulgence you can let yourself enjoy.

I’ve tried and tested each of the three WheyHey flavours, although my favourite is the vanilla, which is just as light and tasty as a Mr Whippy. I was surprised by how much it tasted like regular ice cream, although it has a slightly different texture and is less creamy The high protein content also happens to keep you full for ages, meaning this is a great summer pud to have post-workout.

It sounds too good to be true, only it isn’t, I assure you! This is properly amazing stuff. So, unlike those Magnums you’ve been scoffing down (we can see you!), WheyHey can help you achieve your fitness goals, helping to build lean muscle and speed up your metabolism (the body needs more energy to digest protein than other foods) Its makers even claim it can help reduce body fat by slowing the absorption of glucose into the bloodstream. Pretty clever, right?

So, what are you waiting for? Mine’s a vanilla!
