It's no secret that I adore Elemis skincare - anyone who steps into my bedroom will see that their products pretty much pepper my dressing table.
I first fell in love with the brand many moons ago when I was a journalist (I'm aware that this makes me sound like I'm in my 40s...when I say many moons, I mean four years) and was sent the award-winning Pro-Collagen Marine cream to try.
Despite its rather expensive price tag, one of these beauties sells every minute. Anyway, it was one of the first luxury skincare products I ever tried, and it remains a favourite to this day.
My latest Elemis addiction is the bargainous cleansing duos - you get two products (a cleanser and a toner) pretty much for the price of one! How many other luxury brands can you say that for?
My favourite has to be the Elemis Balance and Purify cleansing duo, which I have been using morning and night for the past few months - and, it has to be said, I am in LOVE!
During this time, I have had to deal with numerous sleepless nights (teething baby, baby with gastro-enteritis, me with gastro-enteritis, a hubby with gastro-enteritis...you get the picture), and so I don't think it's down to luck or genetics that my skin has maintained a lovely, healthy glow.
The Balancing Lime Blossom Cleanser is designed to restore balance to the skin, helping to blitz away the results of daily pollution. I have been massaging it into the skin as a cream, and then I gently wipe it away with a cotton pad or muslin. Despite being super calming and soothing, it seems to lift off even the most stubborn of make-up, leaving my skin happy and refreshed.
The Lavender toner is a gorgeously refreshing follow-up, and I've taken to spritzing it on my face throughout the day. I find it really helps to freshen up my make-up and moisturise my face.
My verdict? I am seriously in love! And for a bargain of £21 for the two (just click here to buy), I'm going to be re-stocking pretty soon...
