Pre-Fall With VideDressing

From the chunky, rollneck knits to the suede knee boots, teddy bear coats and oversized totes, I adore Autumn fashion.

As the pre-Fall collections start to drop into shops (hurrah!), I almost find myself wistfully wishing for cooler weather. Pulling on a pair of knee-high boots just seems so much sexier, so much more glamorous - and flattering - than a thin maxi dress.

Late in the summer, I always find myself starting moodboards for pre-Fall. This year, I'm all about the suede midi skirts, the statement knits (again), the traveller-inspired prints, knee boots and a whole lot of fringing.

I'm always lured into buying high-end designers - their knits just seem so much more fluffy! - when I don't necessarily have the budget. Which is why I can't wait to do this year's shopping on Videdressing - an accessible, affordable second hand luxury clothing site.

An online Aladdin's cave of vintage and second-hand (sometimes new) designer clothing, this is a dream for fashionistas on a budget. Take your pick from ultra-luxe, glamorous Chanel and Hermes, or invest in a little downtown cool with Acne, Alexander Wang or Rag and Bone.

If you're looking for something to really add sparkle to your wardrobe, then the certified luxury section of Vide is utterly tempting. As a sunglasses fan (needed when you have two young children), I adore the Miu Miu shades, while some of the handbags are to die for.

Teresa and I are both HUGE fans of gorgeous bags, so it seems a no-brainer that we fell straight in love with Vide's handbag section.  While a Hermes may still be out of reach, I'm determined to save those pennies for a Givenchy or Saint Laurent to swish on my arm.

What would you shop for on Vide?
