These deliciously gooey, fudgy and uber rich Superfood Chocolate Brownies are a firm favourite in my household.
Loaded with flavour and deliciously moist, these scrumptious little bites are perfect for an afternoon treat, or served with a huge mug of tea.
Created using black beans (fantastic as a flour substitute in chocolate recipes - give it a go!), this gluten-free and healthy brownie recipe is also free from refined sugars and any artificial nasties. Packed with shelled hemp seeds to add texture and crunch (and boost flagging energy, or to prevent blood sugar spikes) and topped with nutrient-dense goji berries, these brownies are full of goodness and flavour.
We hope you enjoy them every bit as much as we do!

SUPERFOOD CHOCOLATE BROWNIES
Ingredients:
2 tins black beans, drained
1 cup butter
3 eggs
1.5 tbsp NutsnMore chocolate peanut butter (or use another egg to keep nut free)
2/3 cup honey
3/4 cup Creative Nature cacao
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp Little's chocolate truffle coffee, dissolved in water
Pinch himalayan salt
1 cup Creative Nature shelled hemp seeds
1 handful goji berries
Method:
1) Preheat your oven to 170C, then grease and line a brownie tin. Gently melt the butter, then set aside and leave to cool. Place the beans, eggs, nut butter, honey, cacao, vanilla, coffee and salt into a food processor, then blend until smooth and combined.
2) Pour the melted butter into the processor, then blend to combine once more. Taste the batter and add a touch more honey if desired, then stir through the shelled hemp seeds. Pour into the brownie tin, then bake for 40 minutes, or until cooked. Sprinkle with goji berries, then leave to cool before cutting into squares and eating.
