Let's face it, every woman and her dog (or handbag, more likely) has always wanted scientists to create a delicious, healthy chocolate. You know, a bar of chocolate which satisfies your sweet tooth, without adding pounds to your body, and forcing you to look like a sausage in your favourite skinny jeans.
To me, healthy chocolate always seemed to be a bit of an oxymoron. It just doesn't go, doesn't it?
Well, I didn't think it did. Until I got my hands on some cacao butter and I realised that you could make your very own healthy chocolate, right from scratch - and it's easy peasy, utterly fool-proof.
Combining just THREE ingredients, this Delicious, Healthy Homemade Chocolate is possibly one of the greatest recipes you'll ever try. In fact, you won't know ever need to run your supermarket out of Cadbury's Dairy Milk again.
All you need to make this is cacao butter, unsweetened cocoa and maple syrup - it's that simple. You can get experimenting with flavourings if you like (I love adding orange extract to mine, or chopped nuts), but it's just as good plain.
Go on, give it a go...
