For the past month or so, all Teresa and I seem to have talked about are coats. Winter coats, to be precise.
It might seem crazy that, while the rest of the country is lazing about and basking in the summer sun, our minds are set on cosying up in the winter months. But hey, no one ever said we were sane...

Once a punk rocker, always a punk rocker...ever since my fling with being a punk when I was younger, I have had a thing for tartan and checks. I am loving this trend and will be adding this bargain TRF bomber to my wardrobe for an instant update.

My favourite trend of all for A/W13 are the gloriously elegant ladylike coats. Think Jackie O in her pink Chanel suits and you're halfway there - yep, this season is all about the pink and blue coats. But fret not, it doesn't have to be too saccharine. Toughen with colour clashing (we love the red clutch against the pink coat) or masculine detailing.

Every wardrobe needs a classic coat, and these are some of our favourites right now. I adore this ASOS camel number, which I'd wear teamed with neon yellow and grey.
