The Gorgeous Folly Home

Everyone knows that Teresa and I love love LOVE to shop. Whether it be for fashion, beauty, gorgeous homeware or quirky gifts, we are always on the look out for fab new places.

However, it isn't very often that a brilliant store opens right on our very doorstep. Our sleepy hometown of Hinckley is set right in the heart of the Midlands and, convenient though it may be, it's not exactly renowned for being a shopping Mecca.

So you can imagine my delight when, one glorious, sunny evening, I took a stroll with dog and baby and stumbled across the gorgeous Folly Home.

Added to the divine Marmalade Meringue (chock-full of unique homeware), a Willy Wonka's playground of a sweet shop, and the award-winning Vintage Treasures, we now have another fabulous independent shop on our hands.

YES. Another Hinckley hit! Hoorah. And what a hit Folly Home is too...

Designed as a one-stop shop for unique gifts, playful homeware and vintage treasures, Folly is a wonderful family-run business which I fell in love with on first sight.

There are some absolutely fantastic gifts and presents for children, as well as brilliant items to decorate kids' bedrooms. I am in love with some of the kitchenware below - I NEED the homemade cookie stamps, and the sunshine egg holder is just too adorable.

Also, is it bad for an adult to eat off a Food Face plate? Yes? OK...

How frigging cool are the soldier and cowboy cushions? And since Zayn and I (make that me) have a mini obsession with dinosaurs, I NEED to buy him this T Rex toy. So cute!

The shop is overflowing with cute items for kids. I adore the Harry Potter-inspired dragon bookmark, and their range of night lights is blooming brilliant! The light switch stickers are adorable too.
