The Beauty of Ancient Greek Sandals

One of my favourite places in the world is Greece. I love the spectacular sunsets, the beautiful beaches and the even more beautiful people. But, above all else, I love the colours, the blue and white that symbolises Greece.

I spent many a summer holiday as a child roaming the Greek islands (with my parents, of course!), watching the sun set from behind magnificent white-washed houses and blue domes.

To this day, those colours remind me of some of my happiest memories, of long hot summers spent in paradise.

When you think of it like that, it will probably come as no surprise that my new, number-one lust-have for summer are these cobalt and white Calypso sandals from Ancient Greek Sandals.

Aren’t they pretty?

Having these on my tootsies was all that was missing this weekend, when the sun finally finally FINALLY got his hat on.

Pretty much summer in a sandal, these beauties have my longing for wispy maxi dresses, beachy waves and fruity cocktails.

Coming in at 150 Euros, they may seem a little pricey, but then every sandal is handmade to order. Isn’t that amazing? I also know for a fact that they would make me smile, each and every time I pulled them on.

And while we are at the shoe porn, let’s just admire the Ancient Greek Sandal Company’s other offerings. Glamorous, right? I'll take every pair, in every single colour...
