Quite some time ago our lovely Samantha Hadadi wrote a blogpost called Lust-Have One Green Zebra. Our admiration for One Green Zebra has been going on for months now and we regularly chat on Twitter with the owner Laura Hoar - she's a very nice lady!
A few weeks ago Laura told me that One Green Zebra was about to hit their first milestone of becoming one year old (today 1st November) and I thought it would be splendid to celebrate their birthday by sharing with you their new collection.
There are some gorgeous colours and patterns, and we love anything cashmere. Once you've worn cashmere there is no going back….
Here's a few words from the lovely Laura Hoar from One Green Zebra:
'I started the company just after my son's 1st birthday, as I missed the challenge of trying to be creative as well as doing all the ironing and motherly jobs. (I have worked in and around fashion and styling for the past 10 years).
I picked up an allergy to wool during my pregnancy, so that is why my scarves are predominantly pure cashmere although I am working on a 100% pure wool collection for 2013 with a lower price-point, as not everyone can afford cashmere. All the scarves are produced in small quantities to keep that feeling of 'exclusivity and luxury' and where possible I do try to get them manufactured in the UK. If not, I like to ensure that they are made in a factory where the staff are treated ethically and paid well.
Basically, I want to create scarves which are fun, feel amazing, look great and are a useful wardrobe staple'.
